The U's join the founding group of clubs rethinking how commercial partnerships are managed — from a city built on innovation.

Cambridge United Football Club has become a Founding Member of RightsHub, the partnership management platform built specifically for rights holders in sport.

As one of the platform's founding clubs, Cambridge United will help shape how RightsHub develops while benefiting from a simpler way to manage commercial partnerships, sponsorship assets and contractual rights.

A club at the heart of an innovation city

Cambridge United sits in one of the UK's leading technology clusters, a city known for its universities, its research and its AI, life sciences and deep-tech sectors. The club's appetite for innovation extends beyond the pitch to the technology behind its commercial partnerships.

RightsHub replaces spreadsheets and disconnected systems with a single place to track partnership deliverables, manage commercial inventory and evidence that sponsors received everything they were promised.

As our commercial partnerships continue to grow, we wanted something that would help us manage sponsor rights and deliverables without adding complexity. RightsHub is straightforward, cuts back on admin and offers excellent value — we are already seeing the benefit in staff administration and reporting time.
Neil Rowe, Commercial Director, Cambridge United Football Club

The platform has been developed as an alternative to unreliable spreadsheets, without the lengthy implementation or enterprise price tag usually found elsewhere in the market.

Cambridge is recognised globally as a centre for innovation, which makes the club an ideal partner as we continue to develop RightsHub. Our vision has always been to build a platform that works for every rights holder — not just the biggest clubs with large commercial teams.
Tony Davison, Founder, RightsHub

As a Founding Member, Cambridge United will work closely with the RightsHub team, providing the feedback that shapes new features and keeps the platform aligned with how commercial departments actually work.

RightsHub is currently onboarding its first group of Founding Members ahead of a wider market rollout.
